The targeted per kilometre subsidy will be available for eligible families in remote NSW from Term 1, 2022, to offset part of the transport costs of driving children to participating preschools.

A full list of participating preschools will be published in early 2022.

Application process

Eligible families with children enrolled in a participating early childhood education service must submit an application via Transport NSW.

Key dates

Applications must be submitted by

• The last day of Term 2 for semester one payments, or

• The last day of Term 4 for semester two payments.
