Macleay Options is a not-for-profit community-based organisation which provides in house support services for individuals with a disability. Macleay Options also directly employs individuals with additional needs and welcomes them into supported employment.

The organisation recently identified a need to attract more young people into their workplace. By connecting with the Regional Industry Education Partnerships (RIEP) program, Macleay Options were able to engage local schools and offer work experience opportunities to students.

Macleay Options, in collaboration with the RIEP program, was then able to offer tours of the workplace for local school careers advisers and learning support staff to showcase the opportunities available for supported employment. This was followed by tours for students and parents. After this, students were able to apply for work experience opportunities at Macleay Options.
